課堂中取而代之的是如同歡樂的宴會氣氛，每位同學皆踴躍的表達自己的看法，同時也尊重他人的不同見地，若討論到敏感議題時例如政治，如何有風度地接受別人的看法，並且機智給予回應，是我在這個月當中所學到的寶貴經驗，不僅止於課堂討論，同學之間相處也是不吝給予指點，並當下指出你的錯誤迅速解決問題，避免問題隨著時間擴大與複雜化，這也是令我印象最深刻的。如何有技巧的不讓對方感到不舒服與保持組內的和諧，在這短短的一個月當中，我確實學到不少。
課程主要是跟口語有關，畢竟我們在學校所學的英文能力能藉此發揮，才能習慣成自然，我是這樣想的。課堂第一天，老師與班上學生討論有興趣的議題與所期待能在這門課中獲得什麼，選擇自己所感興趣的，然後盡情參與其中。
有趣的是，一個班級就如同文化的大熔爐，觀點與文化的不同常會互相腦力激盪而後產生獨特的見解，比如說，某次上課主題為社群網站，討論過程中，可以了解到不同國情文化使用社群網絡的現象與特色。
