    強化英語​​課程（IEP）是一個確保國際學生為進入本科/大學或者研究生學位課程時，所必需的英語和大學水平能力的校園學術課程 - 不論是選擇進入 WMU  或是任何其他的美國大學或學院就讀。

    課程目標，受益：
    學業和非學業生可以申請此課程。

    課程設置：
    CELSIUS 課程幫助學生進入美國學院和大學學習，並幫助專業人士提高工作的英語能力。
    從入門，初級，中級，中級到高級和進階：學生可以有五個級別的課程。每個級別一個星期有四個小時，周一到週五上課。毎個級別分為四個課程。口語和聽力每天一小時，閱讀和寫作每天兩小時，語法與溝通每天一小時。口語/聽力和語法/通訊課程將進行一整個學期，讀/寫（第 1 和第 2 班）班一次將進行七個星期。全時段的學生每週有 20 小時的課程。

夏可蘭

這次參家密集英語課程後，關於西密西根大學的環境部分特別想跟大家分享一下!!!
環境:人口約22萬左右的小鎮,華人人口相對美國其他地區低很多!若下定決心想學英文此地是很好的選擇!夏天早晚溫差大可攜一件長袖薄外套。
交通:交通方面較為不便,附近沒有地鐵站僅有火車站及公車或taxi!公車禮拜日停駛。如果需要下廚或添購用品須儘早。在這裡沒有車其實蠻不方便的,遊學前建議可以先上FB與西密西根台灣同學會的人連絡,大家會熱情告訴你該注意的地方及遊覽校園(當然也有免費司機載你購物)。
學校:綠樹環繞設施完善,圖書館除特定價日外都會開放!語校的老師都十分熱情教學也相當活潑!會依不同級別指導如何獨立撰寫paper非常受用。
宿舍:兩人一間房,兩房共用一間衛浴!宿舍空間寬敞!附有獨立單人床,書桌及衣櫃!可無線上網,須先下載學校的防毒軟體,並自備網路線!宿舍地下室有洗衣機與烘衣機。
課外活動:學校每個禮拜會有1~2次不等的課外活動,若想獨自遊覽可以去市中心(公車終點站即是)或搭火車前往芝加哥。
